1. Is there internet on the island?  Yes, we have WIFI to be paid at Reception for VUV1,000 to access at the beach and reception area.
  2. How much is the ferry?    The ferry is free but we do have an Island entrance fee for day visitors (not houseguests) of vt2,000 per adult and vt1,000 (3-12) and free for children under 3.
  3. How often does the ferry run?   The Ferry runs 24 hours a day.  It takes approximately 4 minutes to take the ferry from the mainland to the island.
  4. Can I get a Bus/Taxi to town?   It is easy to catch public transport to town.  Just take the ferry to the beach on the mainland.  There are generally several buses and taxis on the beach during the day.  If you are leaving unusually early or late you may have to walk a block to the main road.
  5. How much does it cost?   Buses are vt300 per adult to town.  Taxi prices vary between vt1500 and vt2500 depending on the time of day and what is  negotiated.
  6. Can we fish on the island?   Since we are a Marine Sanctuary we do not allow fishing on the island.
  7. Can I swim out to the underwater post office?   The underwater post office is approximately 35 meters from shore.  You can swim, snorkel or kayak as you please.
  8. Where’s the best place to snorkel?   Our best snorkelling is right off the beach in front of the restaurant.  There is a specially built stairway leading into the water.
  9. Do I need a certification to dive?   No, you can do a Discover SCUBA  Dive with one of our knowledgeable instructors or dive masters. If you love it (most do!) your DSD can count toward an Open Water course, which can be completed in as little as 3 days.
  10. How many dives do you do a day?   We have 3 dives available per day;  8.30, 10:30 and 2.00pm. We are happy to plan diving at other times (including night dives) just call into the dive shop and we’ll organise it.
  11. How far to the Cascades Waterfalls?   The Cascade Waterfalls is approximately a 30 minute walk.  However, we suggest you catch a bus from the beach for vt200 per person because once you reach the falls you will be walking to the top of the falls.
  12. Can you arrange tours?   We have tour brochures in our reception area and anyone at the front desk can help you arrange a tour.
