Borrow a ball from our activity desk and have a game of beach volleyball, try your hand at petanque, or settle down to an afternoon or evening of board games available from the office. We also maintain a supply of paperback books for your reading pleasure. Of course, the most popular land based activity on a tropical island is relaxing. Our beach is equipped with a plentiful supply of loungers just waiting for you to settle into. Should you get too hot baking in the sun, liquid refreshment is but a few steps away in our bar on the beach.

Gift Shop

Hideaway Island has its own small gift shop right here on the island. With everything from everyday essentials, T-Shirts, hats, cameras & film  to local carvings & artwork, there's sure to be something here to take away as a souvenir of your stay. We also have a supply of ice-creams and chocolate bars for those of you with a sweet tooth.

Golf

For the golfer, Vanuatu's premier golf course is located on the mainland less than 5 minutes drive from Hideaway Island. A relatively flat course, don't be fooled into thinking it's easy - with Mele Bay on one side, sand traps and trees to negotiate there are plenty of challenges to make it an interesting 18 holes.
