General Information
Snorkelling in the warm tropical water surrounding Hideaway Island is great by day or night. During the transformation at dusk the coral starts to feed; squid, octopus and cuttlefish become active & parrotfish sleep in their cacoons. You will have the opportunity to observe all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures such as sponge crabs, anemone crabs, lion fish, flame shells and possibly a nautilus. The tour begins with a non-alcoholic welcome drink and a briefing on what you're likely to see on your underwater adventure. You will then be provided with snorkel gear and a torch and our Divemaster will lead you on an underwater tour of discovery. You will also be able to mail a postcard in the underwater post office. Afterwards, take a warm shower, relax on the beach, enjoy a drink and be mesmerized by the crackling of the fire and the sound of the waves gently lapping the shore. A BBQ dinner will be followed by roasted marshmallows melted over chocolate on sweet biscuits. What better way to end the evening!
